1.8 miles; north stonington, ct this was a fun and informative mushroom walk through the fowler preserve sponsored by the north stonington citizens land alliance. not much out there, but people did manage to find stuff, including this lovely hexagonal-pored polypore. you can find the fowler preserve in the hikefinder.
