Barn Island

since there is no hunting permitted in connecticut on sundays, i headed back to beautiful barn island, no longer a dystopian hellscape of blood-sucking insects, unless you count deer ticks. it was a cool gray day, but always a good walk.

i was struck by all the different colors in the marsh grass, though naturally, my lousy photo doesn’t show them very well.
