Browning Farm Trail, South Kingstown

3.05 miles   2.15 mph

this is a new (to me) property owned by the south kingstown land trust. it’s a shorter lollipop loop with a spur trail out to worden’s pond and back, which we missed. which was okay, as there was still enough snow on the ground to make you wish you were wearing snow shoes. it’s a pretty property, and i’m sure i’ll be back.

there were a couple of pretty old cellar holes, but the terrain was mostly pine barren.

i get the feeling that this is a more recent structure than the first one, but who knows?

you can find out more about this property on the website of the south kingstown land trust. find links to the trail head and the online trail map at Auntie’s Hike Finder.
