Duval Trail, or the Mountains of South Kingstown

another usual suspects hike. we did more of the duval trail than the last time we went out. we walked the mountainous part today! i forgot how bad some of these hills are. this was also my first time hiking in the rain, although it wasn’t very hard rain… more showery. and i forgot my camera, so no photos. apologies. i hate blog posts without photos.
we did see some cool ’shrooms, though. we saw a beautiful little yellow guy which i think was a yellow fly agaric, or amanita, mushroom. and one of my friends spotted a purple mushroom, possibly a blewitt. made me really mad i’d forgotten my camera. NEVER AGAIN.
