This is a list of my favorite hikes in the Asheville, NC, area—basically Western North Carolina.

Also, this page and the associated pages are works-in-progress. I will be adding to this page as the mood (and the hike) strikes me.  And as conditions change or trails get re-routed, I plan to update the individual hike pages as well. So stay tuned.
