today was a usual suspect hike with only the one other suspect (missed you, dn!). we booked it through this audubon property. totally enjoyable hike on a much more moderate day. shirley enjoyed it too.
bridge at upper pond
this is a shot of the bridge at one end of upper pond, which is really only a wide spot in fisherville brook. and which, as you can see, the beavers would like to make even wider.
this hike is in the hikefinder, although with slightly different mileage for whatever reason.
