this was a “usual suspects” hike, and this time we invited a new friend.
this is me with fidget, one of the suspects’ adorable corgi. isn’t she beautiful? and such a good trail dog! she was quiet and stayed with us, which i think is quite an accomplishment considering those little tiny short legs! fidget was adopted, and my friend says that when she first got her, fidget could barely walk to the corner of the driveway and back without getting winded. i guess she didn’t get much exercise where she started life.
not much to say about carter… i’ve been here so many times and in so many different seasons. it’s a perfect length, it’s near to home, and it’s quite lovely.

you can find francis carter in the hikefinder.
