this month has been just nuts—i don’t feel like i have any time to hike. i managed to sneak out today for about 2 hours, however, to visit one of my favorite places, the green fall gorge.
as you can see, there was a decent flow to the river today. in fact, this cascade is just a few feet downriver from the place where the trail crosses, and let me tell you, it was a scarier than normal crossing today.
it was basically 3 or 4 mostly underwater rocks and a single unsecured cedar log. also very wet. i managed, but i can’t imagine what it would look like with a spring flow. guess i’ll find out.
you can find green fall gorge in my hikefinder.
