Mercy Woods

3.6 miles; Cumberland, RI

Decided to visit here after Ernie’s glowing review of this place on Trails and Walks. It did not disappoint. Very pretty location and varied and interesting terrain. Great spot! Also includes a tiny little section of the Warner Trail.

Bridge

The trails are very well maintained, with easy-to-navigate bridges over water crossings.

Autumn Colors

This was a very pretty time to visit, too, with the golden autumn colors showing up so clearly against the black tree trunks.

Warner Trail Intersection

Here is where the Warner Trail splits off from the property’s blue trail to continue along the shore of the Diamond Hill Reservoir and on towards its southern terminus at Diamond Hill SP.

You can find out more about Mercy Woods and download a trail map from this Cumberland Land Trust website. And as always, click the image above for details about this hike and to download the gps track.
