PCHC North-South Trail, Leg 11—the final step!

we finally did it! three of us from the providence county hiking club managed to complete the 78-mile journey we started on april 11th of this year.

as usual, this hike started where the last one left off, in burlingame state park, on the vin gormley trail. not a lot of color was left—we remarked on what a difference it was from the last time we were here, just a few short weeks earlier.

once we left burlingame, the remainder of our trip was on roads, one of which took us by the famous “worm ladies of charlestown” house.
made it to the ocean
and here is my final step on the trail… at blue shutters beach in charlestown, ri, approximately 78 miles after i started. and the 3 of us who finished got patches and everything!
