South Farm Preserve

Our last stop before lunch was another Charlestown Citizen’s Land Alliance property. This small preserve comes with a lot of history… a from a 1920s sauna to an 1830s sheep barn. There were 2 fields and some woodland trails. Aside from being so short, it was a lovely place.
Well really, I guess it’s only the fireplace for the sauna. Still, pretty cool.
Yes, I know that multiflora rose is an invasive, but it still makes pretty hips.
This is the old beautifully restored sheep barn.
