i’m in the final approach for my first 100-mile month, and i only really needed to get in just under 4 miles today, so i hit the grills. i thought about the green falls gorge, but decided it might be too slippery right now.
very quiet here today. i was the only car in the lot, and i only saw a few birds, and heard a few others.
i decided to visit the old cemetery here, and noticed that someone had placed a crystal heart on the tombstone of a child who died at 21 months, a very long time ago.
someone is still taking care of this place. the flags here are brand new.
came back via the orange trail, which is the cross country trail for westerly high school. it goes by this big BIG rock.
you can find the grills in the hikefinder.
