i wanted to get a quick hike in today before football—not that i was really too concerned with missing a little of the patriots upcoming evisceration of the tennessee titans, but i know i’m gonna miss the nfl season when it’s gone. as it turned out, i saw the kick-off anyway, as i made some really good time today.

i really need to add this hike to my favorite hikes page. there are some really wonderful places to view the river all through here.

case in point—and there are views like this all along the trail on kedinker island. it’s gorgeous whatever the season. i’ve even snowshoed here.
