★★★★½ 1.95 miles beautiful avalonia property. well-marked trails, a little climby, but overall 50:50 hikey:walkey. did only 2 miles today, just wasn’t into it and almost didn’t go out at all, but i only saw about 1/2 the preserve. did find a geocache. deserves a return trip someday.

★★★★ this is a cool place. interesting rock piles and old cellar holes and an old well and an old cemetery. barely 2 miles walking total, though, and that’s if you don’t miss any of the poorly-marked trails. BUT i found my first geocache ever here, at the old cemetery! yay!
